Mrs Hanna Lindgren passed away at the home of her daughter Mrs Frank Nelson of Center City. Monday afternoon at 2:30 pm. Death came as a result of Pneumonia. She was 77 years of age. Funeral services were being conducted today at the Chisago Lake Lutheran Church at Center City with Dr A N Nelson officiating. Pallbearers were J A Abrahamson, JF Holmbrerg, Charles Alm, CJ Jackson, Victor Johnson and Loth Hall. Interment was made a the cemetary there.

Mrs Lindgren first took ill Tuesday night with a cold, rallying by Thursday. For the day she was able to be up and around again, but her conduition became worse during the latter part of the week. Complications of pneumonia and infirmaties of old age hastened her death. Previous to last week Mrs Lindgren had enjoyed fairly good health and was active about her duties.

The deceased whose maiden name of Miss Hanna Heurlen was born in Christianstad, Sweden on July 17, 1855 and came to America in 1880. She went toMinneapolis and later moved to Center City where she married Otto Lindgren. Mr and Mrs Lindgren settled on a farm 2 miles south east of Center City. Mr Lindgren died March 12, 1902. Four children were born to this union, three daughters and one son. One daughter Mrs George Hokanson passed away in 1910. The living are Mrs Frank Nelson, Center City, Mrs Ernest Linnell of Franconia and Oscar Lindgren residing on the home farm. A step daughter Mrs John Cooper of Carlyle, Illinois also survives besides 10 grandchildren and a host of friends in the community with whom she was held in the highest of respect. The decesed had been a member of the Chisago Lake Church since her arrival here.
